RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the worlds premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.
Background:
This full-time position will serve as a Systems Administrator on the Range Sys Admin team at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR). ATR is the navys east coast open air range and provides real-time test operations support including data acquisition services to DoD customers. This position provides broad IT support to range computer hardware and software. Duties & Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and software related issues
Respond and resolve service outages, technical queries, and other system related issues
Manage user accounts/groups and group policies via Microsoft Active Directory
Assist in gathering information and processing data related to Cybersecurity
Perform and evaluate vulnerability scans on production and test systems
Ensure DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Bulletins (IAVA, IAVB) compliance by managing the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and installation of patches to resolve software related issues with the IT systems
Identify areas of non-compliance by using Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Perform and analyzes system vulnerabilities using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans

Educational, Experience, and Skills Requirements:
To qualify at the Computer Systems Analyst I level:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school in computer programming, operations, or computer systems management; or successful completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of courses in computer programming, operations, systems management, or related field from an accredited college
A minimum of one (1) year of work experience performing the stated or similar function
In lieu of post-High School education/training, a total of three (3) years of experience performing the stated functions is required
To qualify at the Computer Systems Analyst II level:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school in computer programming, operations, or computer systems management; or successful completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of courses in computer programming, operations, systems management, or related field from an accredited college
A minimum of 5 years of work experience performing the stated or similar functions of a Computer Analyst I
In lieu of post-High School education/training, a total of 7 years of work experience in performing the stated functions of a Computer Analyst I
To qualify at the Computer Systems Analyst III level:
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school in computer programming, operations, or computer systems management; or successful completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of courses in computer programming, operations, systems management, or related field from an accredited college
A minimum of 8 years of work experience performing the stated or similar functions of a Computer Analyst II
In lieu of post-High School education/training, a total of 10 years of work experience performing the stated functions of a Computer Analyst II
Candidate must hold or be able to obtain a COMPTIA Security+ CE or ISC2 CISSP or able to become current within 60 days
Experience with DoDl 8500.2 Information Assurance controls (IAC) and common vulnerabilities and exposures, DISA STIGs, DoD IVAM tracking and reporting procedures, and familiarity with FISMA, DIACAP, and other information security-related federal guidelines
Experience with Citrix XenApp and Desktop, Provisioning Services, Dell Storage Manager, SAN/FiberChannel/iSCSI, and CommVault Backup Software is a plus
Microsoft Office skills required
Applicant must possess a valid drivers license and successfully pass drug testing
Clearance Requirements:
Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance
Work Conditions:
Most work performed in enclosed buildings at a desk or in data processing environments. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching
